Oh well, ggs. I will start by saying that this wasn't in any way Flyerkungen's fault. Guy's getting all the shit thrown at him even though he was busting his ass off trying to get the games played. Did all he could and does not deserve any of this shit. (Martindale, eat shit) I arrived from my infamous trip to Miami on Saturday/Sunday night(was great!) and we were ready to play from Sunday onwards. Btw Johtajavirtanen took my spot on LW against Dynasty. So we missed two potential gamedays in semi-finals first week(Wednesday/Thursday) because come on, no one plays on weekends. TWO DAYS. Then we were available on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. At this point unfortunate scheduling things got into play as SJK:s goalies couldn't play before 22cet on couple nights and we had some workshift problems aswell. Everything was negotiated peacefully and both teams had zero problem on agreeing to play today. I understand that it is over the deadline and a punishable action on some situations. But seriously. In ECL semi-finals, when both teams have no problem with the situation and have ABSOLUTELY no desire for walkovers. This was clearly LA:s attempt to brush their soft imago, which is understandable and NEEDED to get people respect the rules. But in my personal opinion this was not the right circumstance to make that move. Yeah, I can take the blame on myself for missing 2 gamedays while sipping pina coladas. I thought we had appropriate amount of time left to finish the series which was 4 _potential_ gamedays. There's just always unfortunate surprises. I won't argue that this wasn't the right call according to the rulebook. I just believe that this was not the right call according to the circumstances. Good luck SJK

What is this shitstorm? Stop crying, i can understand the fact that this case has different opinions. You forced LA to make the call, live with it. Next time make sure you have enough players in your roster so you are capable of playing the games. Last thing you should do is to attack against LA, theyre here to enforce the rules, and its the shittiest "job" you can do here, but someone has to do it. If you want improvements to rules, do pass them on privately. You aint getting anything done better for next time by talking bullcrap.

Obviously I'm very sad about this result. It would have felt way more better to try to reach finals by yourself, not by staff decision. Both teams agreed to play today, if we get permission from staff. They didn't gave it for us and it feels very bad and kinda wrong in this situation, but I also understand it. If they would have given us permission, every team in the future would have used this as an example to get extra time. I'm glad I didn't have to make this decision. Staffs would have received hate anyway, whatever they would have decided. What an ungrateful job to have right now. In the end I feel really bad for SKY, I know how big thing this is for them and how much they have trained.

This probaly wasn't easy call to make and it's never fun handing walkovers in the playoff stage, but I think it had to be done to ensure teams will stick to schedules in the future.

#farssi Tbh, with or without Bugimir, we were not able to play on Wednesday or thursday. We didnt have six players, our back ups were unavailable. What I can do then? We just didnt have six players. Case closed. Friday and saturday, weekend? When friday and saturday has been gamedays? Really? We were able to play sunday, monday and tuesday. Every fuckin those three days at least @ 21-22:30 FIN. After all that, you are giving WOs? Wtf. Both teams wanted one xtra day. You cant just give WOs in this case. This was not SKYs or SJKs fault, sometimes your real life schedules does not fit with opponent as you want. Do you really think SJK or us wanted this? Two teams respecting each other and asking more time! Driving same thing together. Staff, are you afraid to give one more night bc you dont wanna get shit from old foxes? Im disappointed. I want to say my thanks to my Captain and best friend @FlyerKungen . Its seems easy to hate him here because of his way to talk about things in public but to me he has always been such a wonderful person and hard working captain. You guys here can keep hating and rising your name here by talking negative words about us, but... To me this NHL competing is just loving the game and challenge what opponents gives on the road. Like Niki Lauda said in movie called Rush: ''Wise man gets more from his enemies than a fool from his friends.'' And that being said I want to give all my love and respect to the greatest enemies in this game (as teams SJK and GRR) and (as players @Dominointi and @Penatski). Even though this thing happend, both of you have earned my respect and admiration for winning the cup. So keep working, keep improving see you in the next season.

People can talk about respect for the league and respect for the game all they want, and how it is ridiculous that LA gives out WO’s at this stage in a ”competitive eSports league”, but respect for the league is a two-way street - you and me, as players, should respect the league enough to have the games played within the allocated time period.

1. Teams can ask 1-2 days extra to play games during playoffs. If playoffs are on second round -> Thx it was so hard.

I just want to made it clear, SJK, SKY or me, didnt come to ask any special treatment. Never. We dont think we should get any. As ADETIKKI said, we are here to play and love this game. SKY & SJK were both prefering playing, instead of WOs. We tried to work together to get one night more. Bc ofc!! We wanna play, win or lose. Thats the only way, when we are in Elite Playoffs. Imo. Im just little bit confused why people was so much against it. Don't you wanna see these awesome playoff games played? Would people be jealous or something if that extra day would given? If yes, why? I understand there is rules, but we didn't made this on purpose with SJK. It wasn't our fault, it wasn't SJKs fault. And for last time, there was nothing to do with that first lineup. These cases are not very common in Elite Playoffs I think. In my eyes, in this situation and both teams driving same thing together.. little extra time would been understandable. Giving out WOs in Elite Semi-finals is a true tragedy for the league. Much shame to both teams that they could not reach an agreement to play all games in time, and forced LA:s hand. Giving extra time has been a focus of much criticism in earlier tournaments - and it seems popular demand made it self heard in the end. I hope every team takes note from this and recruit bigger rosters for coming seasons, beyond the 8 man MINIMUM requirement. That is my take on it.

L O L. So, SKYs backup player was in hospital wednesday-today and had 40 degrees fever so basically he could have not played. Also there is alot more that is not told in this post... Basically IMO this decision is unacceptable.

I believe everyone wants to see games played and not WOs. But I also believe majority of players wants the deadlines to hold and be respected.. even if WOs are required to achieve that. We learned from last year we need to finish the tournament before christmas and that's why there are deadlines. I have read all the messages here and based on that I think the problem in this case was that LA recieved the information about scheduling problem too late and they didn't recieve all the information about this case before their decision. And maybe teams scheduling games were too confident that they will get that extra day if needed. If LA would have been contacted earlier with all the important information about this case, maybe there would had been one extra day for semifinals to be played who knows. Too bad there had to be WOs. I would have wanted to see the games played. But I am also happy LA respected the deadline. Not easy decision to make for LA.
