Go tauri go

This type of structure does very well in many formats, but entertainment usually don't tell the consumer what's coming up, simply because of the fact that one don't want to give away the element of surprise. I do believe a more spontaneous format is something that could help with the personality of the podcast in this case since the hosts already seem pretty structured in their natural state of mind. Makes for a good mix. We also already have the context before starting a new episode since the podcast solely focuses on ECL-talk, so we already know what we have to expect so no need for a lengthy introduction. .

Great job guys and a great initiative. I would like you to get a bit more personal tho, since your not doing a podcast about science or history. You are doing a podcast where the only thing that matters is your opinion about things - so speak up! Be spontaneous, humorous or even harsh if necessary. Also, I don't think there is no need for the intro where you structure what the whole podcast should be about. Gives the podcast that "cooperate feel" you want to avoid. But two interesting characters. This ought to be good when you find your rhythm. Keep going

Thank you for the feedback @Lauri! While it is true that you can face off against anyone in EASHL, we did try to highlight just how well represented the ECL players were on the regular leaderboards - once again confirming that the ECL holds most of the top players. At least, that was what we tried to show When it comes to the games played, that was what we were able to see on the screenshots - the actual leaderboard was sorted by points scored for skaters and wins for goaltenders, the standard sort when entering the leaderboards. We will hopefully get even more ECL-specific in the show as the season grows closer!

I agree on your former point but partially disagree on the latter. While the overview at the beginning is not absolutely necessary, it prepares the listener with a sense of structure that helps follow the podcast. That same principle is used in various media and is certainly not exclusive to formal contexts. Very often such a structuring introduction will be more subtle, though, and perhaps ECL Talk could learn from that to alleviate the sort of frigidity that I believe you're referring to. On the whole, I think the guys are keeping things pretty natural with a decent balance between form and the digressions of spontaneous banter.

I think content this time was a bit out of the main focus because in eashl you can faceoff against any team and who has played the most isnt really that interesting (personal opinion ofc), so ill hope next time we get something more ecl related topics
