As said in gzells post it is slightly provocative, but if every comment or post that has provocation is disallowed im quite sure there is no community, no discussion, ofc usually when overreaction happends it tends to spread the blame. But the line has to be drawn somewhere.

We felt like the video was in line with the typical amount of "banter" on this website (no drastic content, titanic soundtrack - nothing exceptional). I think all of you know the chatbox very well now, and so far we were very forgiving with everything that was written in there. As long as we are able to see some humor in the things that are posted, we are okay with it. Nobody likes total censorship. However this time, by accusing someone of being mentally disabled in addition to posting a personal image without asking for permission has crossed this line by a mile. It was a rude, unreflected attack with no humor whatsoever. If anyone of you thinks this sort of offense is fine, I'd ask you to please leave the website for an indefinite amount of time. This is something that not a single one of the staff members will ever tolerate and we will continue to hand out draconic penalties for this behaviour in the future. Thank you.

I am largely indifferent when it comes to code of conduct / language / political correctness enforcement. However I think posting personal pictures of guys, even without an insulting caption, is a big no no because privacy is a thing I value. Still, 10 games is 1/3 of a season, that seems like an amount disproportionate to the offense in my book, especially given that the guy was baited into it (not an excuse ofc but maybe an extenuating circumstance?). I like that people are prevented from taking captaincy roles as a result of some offenses, that's a punishment (or is it a blessing?) that can only positively impact the health of the leagues imo. That said, Egyptologen raised a valid point: what's in it for captains these days? It seems like a very very thankless job right now since they have no say in anything and are burdened with extra punishments, extra work, extra everything that sucks. Can this board of captains I have talked about before be a thing in the near future please?

So, 10 games, I would say thats a little harsh. Atleast when no one from Muki is getting anything. All in all this case is pretty weird because no one asked anything from our side of view. So, i will tell a "little" bit about this case from our side of view. All started when we were on powerplay and their goalie froze when we could have scored to the empty net. Well we went back to center ice and threw the puck over the board as the rules say. And then we get to the center ice faceoff where they should give the puck to us and let us back to the offensive zone to minimize the lost powerplay time what we lost on the play. On the faceoff they tried to win it, but atleast i somehow won the faceoff(thats actually rare). Well when we got the puck from the faceoff they instantly started trapping the blueline and about 1min of our powerplay went out of the toilet(We got to the zone actually pretty fast and they took a penalty almost straight after, but you get the idea). Now we get to the replay part. So couple mins after the goalie freezing situation they scored a goal and they watched all the replays from that goal. From my side of view that´s not that bad just watching the replays, but almost straight after we did something that´s good sportsmanship they do something what´s bad sportmanship(and just to make clear Totalii hates to watch replays :D). So after the game there is a little small talk about the replays and we think thats it. Then 2 days after Muki releases a video just to start drama and mock Totalii. Then Totalii does something that is not on any level acceptable and im not going to say more about that, i think everbody knows what happened there. But would this Totalii´s thing never had happened if they hadn´t posted that video? No. Nevertheless, it´s right that Totalii got a ban from that, but that long of a ban when no one from Muki got anything. ps. I don´t want to defend what Totalii did, cause that was just so stupid. I just wanted to tell everybody what happened from step to step. Good night to everybody

Just curious, what are the benefits of being a captain since it is listed together with the games ban in punishments? Im not trying to be rude, I think it is a valid question.

I forgot something that I feel is a big deal in every ruling. Now with the trade-but-also-FA-recruitment deadline passed, banning players effectively puts teams in a situation where they don't have 8 players anymore to use. It doesn't violate the rulebook per se, but in spirit it kinda does. That is especially true for Huppati team that has 2 players banned. I don't know how many players are on that team but potentially they can only have - players remaining, which is not convenient. But wait, there's more. Now that the team has 6 players only, are these 6 guys immune to any ban or what? So there we have a potentially team-ending rule combo. I guess the point I'm making is that you can't completely restrict recruitment if you're gonna wield the banhammer.

This argument was just stupid... Firstly our goalies don´t have any experience playing ecl/ehl as a outfield player and have played only very small amount of games as a outfield player in club games. And second you have played 124 games as a outfield player in ecl/ehl(For example only Ape has played more from our team), yeah thats a little more than 0 on our goalies combined. And actually you have played more games as a outfield player than as a goalie(84 as a goalie). And about the shit talk. I will continue to talk shit if you are talking shit to me.

Yeah we only have to put one of our goalies to play rd.

Relax. No one said Totalli's action was okay. But I think I speak for more than myself when asking where the line is? If I just read your reply here I take it its fine to make fun of opponents with videos. Taunting is usually connected with some type of humour. Its okay even when your motive is to provoke and you even say so out clear?

Also we are not commenting saying decisions are wrong, but being members of the community we are interested in learning the boundaries of what is considered okay and not. Nothing wrong with that.

Again, I dont know what happened...but I would like clarification about the code of conduct rule...since I am the one who wrote the goddamn rule in 2012, and it seems it is interpreted differently today.
