give better example, show me how you stop this if you saying you can stop this, then i will learn better position next time. if you think one move to the side will change everything, cmon... are you serious. this clip was not about me showing i am in amazing position or what, its showing, that shot went so quick that even animation will not trigger, he needed just start animation, and it will be saved, its like move out glove and fine. others years the same was goalies lot of times just dont animate saves, but this year with quick release it becomes absurd often. in breakaway situations you cant be always 100% perfect, you dont need to be in close this shot perfectly square, this position should be enough, but problem is that goalies just sometimes dont trigger animation dont have time because shot comes like slapshot fast, stupidly powerfull and fast.

This was a bad example you’re not going to get an animation being that out of position and from the look of the end of the clip you actually moved right away from the shot which is why you got that animation

"Its not about position" is most stupid words in that topic ever. Irl goalies btw dont try to catch close range shots they try cover as much possible and then shot hit goalies pads etc.

Tbh just ban sponge, too op in my opinion. Let players have quick release, we as goal keepers can’t have it to easy. And play this game to have fun and not dive into “ohh my goalie does weird animations with quick release bla bla” Let’s just play with these regulations mby ban some goalie traits, idk.

Guys, hate to say it but you’re wasting your time. There’s no way they’re banning anything this close to the start of the season. Go touch some grass or something else before the ECL starts.

its not about position, animation dont trigger till its already in the net. he would let in if not right position, but not like this long delay, cmon, puck goes around glove and he dont even try to catch it. this releases is rocket shots, lot of time goalie dont even try to save or its like going trough anyway, and all is close range shots. i dont see in real life hockey that goalie are so delayed or so many close range shots got in. if shot get released goalie should animate right away, its the same as in real life, shot release you try to catch, but he reacts like he was screened, and then sound of goal is coming up, and he in reaction try to do something. and this year all this close shots is ridicilous overpowered. but im done arguing about this. if you dont want to see you will not see. keep on saying to self all is fine. just ban it all and everyone will be happy, no overpowered goalies no overpowered skaters.

Every shot from that distance should go in if you have positioned like that

what you mean high elo goalie will save? goalie not even starting to animate save. and you talking about some ridicilously saves from goalies. okey its practice mode, but in the online its even more bulshit with all this quick release perks and so on. and this what we got every time we face breakaways, or alone guys in front of net. of course why to ban quick release, if you dont need to bother to beat goalie, lets just shoot straight on him and delay his animation. and if you think i am bad goalie and cant save shit and read position , then cmon bro.....

Yeah you can say what you want but give us video clips where is bs goals because of quick release. What i have seen there hasnt been any problems with quick release when talking high level goalies. But many unrealistic and crazy saves because of goalie abilities (wide open net and still save because of ability)

Yeah balanced, got from skater close shot with quick release like a slapshot fast even goalie cant blink, and shots sounds comes like rocket, its not broken at all. got in one night like 4 bs goals trough me and all is quick release but yeah you can not ban it i dont care either, just dont say we are redicilously op goalies and need to ban our abilities, while you shooting releases like slapshots. And if you dont see that quick release is op and just breaks game, then you just dont want to see that or just blind. Almost never you will stop breakaway if guy gets quick release, and close net shot where you are 1v1 in front of net with guy, there gonna always be quicker release then goalie is capable to animate. but if we look on the nhl games, its close to similar, this releases, sad that in real life there is some guys who can shoot releases like slapshot fast, but in ea sports there is anyone, and we as goalie cant do nothing against them. We dont have even counter pick something like lightwork or what. About one timer perk, its not op its good. but quick release is just crazy, if you all say its not broken, then why so many use it and its always making score goals even if goalie is in front of puck and ready for everything. With quick release skater dont need to beat goalie, he can just smash puck in or just shoot on goalie, and we will animate late most of the times or let it trough pads or glove will animate late.

Yeah I never said there was bullshit goals with quick release, I don’t care about it being available or not like I said the bans currently are fine. what I did say is there is enough bullshit against goalies example. Being in beautifully amazing position and having it bounce of every part of your body and trickling in The only thing about beauty backhand is how ridiculous it looks and the power it gets from stupid angles and even when skaters are off balance. overall I think everything is pretty balanced.
