if you ban dialed in or showstopper or sponge, then you should ban quick release and one timer perk, because then its make nonsense take away goalies abilities, but leave the most useable shooting perks also if you do that, then there is no reason to not banning everything. if you decided to keep abilities, then i dont see reason to ban goalie abilities, you still can score right? still teams can win 5:0 and still can play 5:5 so nothing wrong here. If it was like we geting 90% saves and only 1 goal in game, then you could cry, but i dont see problem for now. also there in ea logic is a lot against real nhl goalies philosophy what should stop you for beign score, so say we leave half net open and then save, okey, but are we save because we afk? or we pre readed and moved to that save? also if you are frontal to puck square you should save 90% of time puck, but its not happening because of quick release. of course you need to beat goalie out of position and screen to get goals, thats how it should be, not only shoot and - oh goalie let in self what a beautifull goal, or goalie get bumped and hitted in face and then scored - what a beautifull goal. i can say lazy teams will not score, teams who move puck a lot, will score more- thats how it should be, because goalie is wall, and its why he is there, if you want to score, you need to move that wall, better goalie less moves, and you need to figure out how to beat him. where you saw in real nhl that goalie will let in every shot what is frontal or even close net shot its not going in so often. real game we got like 2:1 3:1 goals in games, in ea we got 5:1 its so common or 5:5 or even more, so i dont see problem of scoring ahahah. goalie should be the same level as skater, not less effective. but you all think that we are king of the ice and we should let in more, when you score on us 5 goals in 10 shots.

Totally agree with this! There has been many that kind of situations where goalie has been positioned bad and there is like half open net and still goalie is able to save those shots when sponge or some other ability activate. Most of those shots should be goals so i think there is need to re-think banning some goalie abilities too

Are you serious? did you play goalie in pros ECL or played against elite players? i would like to see that. And then talk its afk position. So many skaters think its afk position everything is easy there, but when come to net - ouh no, i will enver go goalie again. EA gives to us nothing, this animations always brokes, glitches, they give everything to skater - glitch goals, uneblieavable speed, reaction time, changing directions in last situation, letting interference goalies, giving bad defensive interceptions, making us not fully cover posts and so on. Giving bad deflections, not stoping easy frontal snipes , shots from blue lane, we get stuck in animation on breakaways, but skater can freely move. so before talking goalies is afk position and can play everyone, go and play in pros and you will delete this game. if you pay attention to game, then you will see that goalies letting goals trough pads while floating on ice already how many years you exploit this shit, not shooting but making this pass glitch goal, when goalies dont react because animation dont trigger, i let in so many goals this game when i fully on the ice butterflying but goals went in anyway. so you are actualy kinda stupid then if you think, that we dont butterfly in time and all as goalies just dont read nothing, we are reacting but that doesnt matter, because puck somehow goes trough, and this your perks is even more delaying responses.Everyone who always crying is skaters, because they cant score, and then ea change as too deep shit, and you all happy. Also everyone elite, pro goalie will say that this fivehole glitch is ridicilously stupid and unstoppable. Also if you stay in butterfly too long, skater will just skate you around and let in goal to empty net, so before talking about goalies try to play it some time. same, i would like to see that skaters is actualy skilled and not relaying on abilities, who make us goalies let in easy frontal shot because he uses some kinda quick release, or one timer freezed me on animation, because of golden one tee, or you shoot trough covered shortside post. Skaters dont need to beat goalies they just shoot and pray, thats how you play, and then you cry that we stop most of times, when you bump goalie or try to glitch something in and its not working. you are ELite? but talking like neo. I played against goalie who used sponge in ECL preseason. I saved 20+ shots without your all loved sponge. And he couldnt make saves. its proves there is nothing to do with abilities, lol. If goalie was that easy, then there would not gonna matter what you take to your team net, everyone could play goalie and you will not need to draft good goalies. But how you can see some guys is better then others, and its not because ea decides who afk better, or what, its because we learn how to minimise this glitches, we learn skater habits, and react to them and everything goes with practice and experience. But still its not enough because you gonna get some love from ea and then tell - goalie sucks cant save shit.yeah ban it all , and you will cry even more, because goalies will be realy realy good.

Nah far from it, but goalie is the only position on the ice where u can get away with being bad at the game If a skater makes a mistake and gives shit pass right to opponent u wont get bailed out, as a goalie if u leave half the net open 50% of times sponge or some shit will activate and bail you out, it makes no sense All i want is goalies to be truly good players for once and not depend on ea giving you auto animations 😥 And if we wanna be real that passing glitch was a skill issue on goalies side, if some goalies had some hockey iq and tried to read the shooter if u just stay in butterfly and anticipate it, it would not go in, but instead everyone stood up and was crying about the world being against them as usual -
Yeah lets ban everything ahahah now its dialed in problem, i told you before there is no op abilities for goalies, their doesnt matter already how many years, its just slightly give a bit better counter to some skater abilities, like this year we realy bad goalies - we dont have xray, no tee, lightwork, like we have just stupid dialed in and showstopper to use or sponge, but their are useless abilities. Im sure, i can go without abiltiies and still save 20+ shots in game, you all think its abilities, but i proved last tournament without abiltiies, that if you ban all abiltiies, goalies become even more op , because there is no glitch's errors to saves. This year we finaly can stop puck and you all crying because dont changing your gameplay, we still let in stupid easy goals for no reason, and you still crying that we getting some unbelievable saves. Last year we had to choose builts, perks and attributes , so if you go one you cant do other and so on. This year they give like this abilties some so we dont have other choice to use all the same style and then they give jus unbelievable lot of attributes points, im going crazy on everything now and dont need to bother of changing styles ahaha. but yeah still our attributes is making slightly different outcomes, like ones who actualy working is agility, speed, endurance, durability, vision, and recovery, all other is just useless. Dialed in is joke? okey, quick release is joke, one timer perk is joke so cmon... yeah ban it all , and you will cry even more, because goalies will be realy realy good.

ban all perks. Dialed in is a joke. make some saves and u can stay afk for the rest of the game. Skill issue? No funny passing glitch or something this year so you can’t score? I’m sure you’ll find one soon.

It extended your forward career by at least two years, So it definitely does something to the animations.

there is just only one way now - ban it all, or dont bother to change something, i already said quick release is overpowered close quarter shit and is so redicilously easy to score on goalie with it - and there is already so many xfactors banned to ban one more or two more doesnt make sense, its just if its so fucking bad, then ban it all.

Imo there is just two game breaking skater perks left, ankle breaker and send it. Simple explanations, speed/acceleration boosts and those horrible unrealistic bambi animations.

With the current rules the gameplay is very good. If you remove the shooting perks the game will be the same crap as the last fcl where you could only retreat to turtle defense. Hopefully sportsgamer will stick with the current rules. You have done a good job!

You are deflecting again. It is not me who does not understand. We literally had over 100 messages from the community showing they want it like it was in FCL and SCL last year. That is not my personal opinion, that is the majority speaking. If you refuse to understand that, then that is your weakness ------- (your picture) Point by point: Close Quarters goals do not “just happen anyway”. CQ modifies release priority and aim assist inside close radius. Without CQ many of these shots do not trigger the high speed priority release animation. Frame comparison testing shows completely different outcome from the same shot simply because CQ unlocks a different animation branch. “One timers are easy to defend if you play actively” is also incorrect. Certain one timer styles combined with traits bypass normal defensive stick collision validation inside ICE Q. This is the exact reason Golden One Tee was banned in multiple competitive formats. It is not just about positioning. It is animation override. “Goalies make weird saves anyway so traits do not matter” is wrong. Traits modify which animation state the goalie gets access to. Animation state is outcome determinism in NHL. Without that trait the goalie is not given the same animation choices. That is not subjective. “Auto poke is broken no matter what” is only partially true. Auto poke is only unbalanced because certain traits buff recovery acceleration and turn sync after poke. Base poke without those trait modifiers is significantly more fair. Removing trait buff gives real risk reward again. “Truculence simply makes physical play more viable” is incorrect. Truculence automates force and knockdown threshold. You do not need correct angle timing or weight advantage because the trait applies force anyway. This removes skill expression. “Counter attacks score anyway” ignores the problem. Abilities artificially push low probability chances into mid or high probability outcomes by triggering faster and higher priority animation states. That does not strengthen structured defense. It increases chaos.

You are serving an open net here. I really cannot stay quiet when you come with a weird statement like this again. What exactly made the gameplay worse? Skill issue? I seem to remember that your team claimed it was a skill issue to not be able to defend against Golden Onetee before it got banned. Because when you actually look at the numbers, it was only your team (Parasite) that scored fewer goals per game after you lost Nikkedangles and when Golden Onetee was gone. If Nikkedangles is the best player in the world or if you were simply too dependent on him and Golden Onetee, I will leave that unsaid. But nothing you are arguing here is supported by the statistics, other than the fact that you lost the throne in both FCL and ECL to teams that were simply better. So before we start talking about that a world without abilities ruined the gameplay, are you sure it was not just your team who got worse?

I can say you that goalies abilities even not near power of skater abilities. it doesnt matter what you take its not countering nothing. About goalies making unbelievable saves, its just because you cant aim, and make goalies move out of position, or not quick enough on decision making or passing around puck, so goalie have all time in the world to square up. But its how it should be. if you are on the puck you save it thats how goalies work. When you put quick releases, onetimer perks, some kinda golden rockets and who knows what else, its gives superpower to skater abiltiies, boosting their abilities and making goalie get errors in save and late saves. its what breaks game and its not interesting when 2 pro teams plays together, and its like 5:5 goals in one game. too many, and why? because goalies getting to many errors, doesnt matter your position. But when you play like core teams and lites, you can stop 20 shots, and be even shutout, why? because guys are less effective on glitch using and their decision making is slower. Why i want quick release be banned, because its makes our goalies not save puck, because this shot is comming so fast that even if you trigger save its to late. and its not normal, if you are in front of me , i should save that, not always making my glove go late on save. Also you need to understand that, you as skater decide when shoot and where to shoot, we as goalie just wait for animation trigger, we dont have button - i want save now glove shot high or low or fivehole or what, and i will trigger it in time when he shoots. We need to wait for animation to trigger on the shot, and all this abilities onetimer, quick release, rockets and all other kinda shooting abilties, are making our animation trigger delay or getting less effective, so is it fair to make our animation delay so you should score, not because you beated goalie, but because you use cheats to make us go blind or stucked, or just late. Thats why i think it will be fair just to ban all ablities, and use game as it is and then skill will decide not abilities.
