My team Brynäs has played alot with no perks and you can still score alot against turtledefence. As a defender myself we cant have "Stick em up". It does the work for you. I play with no stick em up and I have to be good at it now. I thought that was what we wanted in esport?. When i play with "stick em up" it does everything for me. Without the abilities you have to choose if you want to shoot good or skate good as defender. Choose your points after your playstyle and I like that alot. For med abilities like "beauty backhand". "Stick em up". "Sponge". "Rocket" its like the ability does it for you.

I will be hitting free agency, and while I am eyeing for current options I would also be open for a tryout. What level, who knows before trying. I have a long experience, mostly as a left winger. I would like to think I am a pretty effective offensive player. I also enjoy playing LD where my skills are best at puck moving and fast execution on breakouts, with a solid eye for offence from the blueline. I would love to play defense too in a good group. Message me if you think I would be a good fit.

Yeah, Julius and Hyde are perfectly on point. I feel like having same ability bans but only gold allowed is perfect balance so we dont have any overpowered elite (or blue) abilities but also would not change meta to boring turtle hockey. And yes i also agree that most fair and efficient way to hear opinion from community is to DM captains instead of having public vote. But however its done, democratic decision is important.👍

I don’t mind if you ban all the elite ones but at least keep the golden abilities or we will see only the same builds for everyone, only turtle defending, etc. Heard some comments that people have played leagues like ITHL with no abilities and ”the game feels so much better” but the fact is that for example ITHL -> there is like 0.75 teams which can really defend well as a team so in my opinion it’s not giving the best information which is working and which is not. I hope we get some decisions about this as soon as possible!
