    I think you should consider using this Summer Cup-type Draft-format in regular ECL of course combined with regular, traditional team registering. There could be separate Draft-period between the end of team registration and beginning of season for example one week. This system in addition to that traditional way could bring new players easier to ECL and help also older players to find a team. Of course, there can be unsuccessful drafts (player who won´t fit in team) but there can also be unsuccessful player recruting in traditional team building. To organizers: think about that feedback on drafts in ECL.

    📣 Reminder: Last Day to Sign Up is Tomorrow (July 17)! Hey SportsGamers! Just a quick heads-up that tomorrow, July 17, is the final day to sign up for the Summer Cup '25 (EU). Don’t miss your chance to join in on this classic summer tournament! We also really need more captains to step up. If you’re even a bit curious about it — go for it! It’s one of the most fun ways to get involved, meet new people, and help make the tournament a great experience for everyone. If you’ve already signed up but want to switch to being a captain, you can edit your sign-up form or just reach out to the admins and we’ll help you make the change. To make things easier this year, we’ve set up a dedicated draft system on the website that will guide you through the entire process.
