Hi SportsGamers, We’re now ready to share the final ECL ’26: Spring prize pool numbers, including how the total prize pool was calculated and how it is distributed across the divisions. This update is being published later than originally intended, and we apologize for the delay. The timing of this communication did not affect the prize pool calculation or the amount allocated to players. The figures below are final and reflect the completed Spring season. How the ECL ’26: Spring Prize Pool Was Calculated The ECL prize pool model for the NHL 26 cycle is based on a simple and transparent principle: 35% of NET license sales are returned directly to the players as prize money. Here’s how the Spring ’26 prize pool was formed: ➕ ECL ’26: Spring license sales (incl. VAT): €47,130.00 ➖ VAT (25.5%): –€9,576.22 ➖ Payment processing fees (PayPal): –€1,569.48 ➕ Allocated to Spring from Full Year Player Licenses: €9,438.24 🟰 Spring ’26 NET sales: €45,422.54 ➡️ 35% of NET sales allocated to prize pools: €15,897.89 This amount is fully dedicated to Spring ’26 prize pools across all ECL divisions. Prize Pool Allocation by Division The total prize pool is distributed between divisions based on participation, competitive level, and season structure. ECL ’26: Spring – Total Prize Pools Elite (43.5%): €6,915.58 Pro (22.5%): €3,577.03 Lite (16.5%): €2,623.15 Core (11.5%): €1,828.26 1v1 (6%): €953.87 Total: €15,897.89 Division Prize Distributions Each division’s prize pool is paid out to multiple placements to ensure that strong playoff performances are rewarded throughout the divisions. ECL Elite – €6,915.58 #1: €3,042.86 #2: €1,383.12 #3–4: €691.56 each #5–8: €276.62 each ECL Pro – €3,577.03 #1: €965.80 #2: €679.63 #3–4: €465.02 each #5–8: €250.39 each ECL Lite – €2,623.15 #1: €629.56 #2: €498.40 #3: €367.24 #4: €288.55 #5–8: €209.85 each ECL Core – €1,828.26 #1: €475.35 #2: €329.09 #3–4: €255.95 each #5–8: €127.98 each ECL 1v1 – €953.87 #1: €515.09 #2: €248.00 #3–4: €95.39 each Final Notes These figures represent the final prize pool for the completed ECL ’26: Spring season. The Spring prize pool includes the portion of Full Year Player License sales that was reserved for Spring during the Winter season. Prize allocations are based on percentage splits calculated from exact underlying values. Displayed placement amounts are rounded to the nearest cent, so small €0.01–€0.02 differences may appear when summing the rounded figures compared to the exact internal totals. As always, our goal is to keep the ECL transparent, fair, and community-driven, with a clear connection between participation and rewards.
