The Latvian Warriors delivered a breathtaking performance on their home ice, emerging triumphant in a do-or-die playoff showdown against the Black Hurricanes. In a best-of-three series, Game 3 was a rollercoaster of emotions, ultimately resulting in a 2-1 overtime victory for the Warriors. The dramatic win propels them into the quarterfinals.

The Warriors, facing elimination after a 5-0 defeat in their last encounter with the Hurricanes, displayed remarkable resilience. The game opened with the Hurricanes taking the lead just 44 seconds into the second period. However, the Warriors quickly equalized at 05:52, setting the stage for an intense third period.

The Hurricanes surged ahead with another goal, but the Warriors refused to yield, leveling the score at 06:35, sending the game into overtime. At 07:59 of the extra frame, the Warriors netted the game-winning goal, securing their place in the quarterfinals.
