In our first home game of the ECL season, it was the opponents who drew an early penalty. Unfortunately, we were not able to use this to take the lead yet, but about halfway through the first period, Alex Plewka (Johnny Paresano) made it 1-0. After about a quarter of an hour, it was Johnny Paresano, who increased to 2-0, before about one and a half minutes later, our goalie, Maurice Witt, left the goal in favor of a sixth field player and, together with Alex Plewka, Johnny Paresano put on the double and thus the lead to 3-0. A few seconds before the siren, however, we had to concede the 1st goal. In the second period Alex Plewka then also managed his second goal of the game, when he increased in the 26th minute to 4:1. A good half hour was played, when the Chiefs shortened again. But neither the two penalties in the second period against Dennis Roos and Johnny Paresano, nor the penalty against Alex Plewka in the last period endangered the victory, with which in the end the points remained in Krefeld.
